RETEC Rotary Atomizer - ATOMR

RETEC Rotary Atomizer using air bearing – ATOMR, which has certificate of New Excellent Product (NEP-MKE-2011-026) and New Excellent technology (NET No. 0129) from MOE of Korean Government is a sprayer of liquid and slurry after atomization. Unlike exist other technology, it is the weight, drastically reduces electric energy and increases durability. With new technology, it has a lot of certificate of domestic and international patent.

ATOMR has the following advantages:

 ▶ Possible to spray a very fine particle, Atomization of droplet (30 ~ 80㎛) using centrifugal force applied to spray disc
 ▶ Life span extension by durability increase adapting hybrid bearing – air and ceramic bearing
 ▶ High efficiency equipment with minimized energy consumption owing to frictionless rotation
 ▶ Minimized cooling system through non-heat rotation owing to frictionless rotation
 ▶ Easy maintenance without clogging
 ▶ Controllable droplet size and spray amount

Semi-dry SDA (spray dryer absorber) installed in circulating fluidized bed (CFB) coal boiler, biomass power plant and waste to energy plant is usually designed to be used in conjunction with Rotary Atomizer.

Recently, RETEC supplied ATOMR with a normal capacity of 16 ton/hour (max. 80 ton/hour, 160 kW motor) to JEONJU Paper for large scale biomass power plant and the commissioning was successfully completed.
